Three ways we gather
Each offering has its own setting, rhythm, and purpose. Forest and Beach anchor our regular time together on the land; Workshops & Gatherings create smaller opportunities to deepen learning, relationship, and community. All are rooted in the same belief: children and adults grow through meaningful experience, unhurried time, strong relationships, and connection to place.
Not programs in the usual sense.
We do not use the word lightly. A program often implies a sequence — a curriculum, a set of outcomes, a beginning and an end. Wild Village is more cyclical than that. Children return to familiar land, familiar water, and familiar people week after week, season after season. The places change too: the creek rises and falls, the tide shifts, the oaks drop acorns, the chaparral dries and greens again, fire and weather reshape what we thought we knew.
And the children change alongside them. They notice more. They remember more. They take on greater challenge. Their questions deepen. Their relationships grow. The same place offers something different because they are different when they return to it. What we are building is not a sequence to complete, but a relationship to deepen.
